- Quest activity such as entries, check-ins, punches, survey responses, prize records, and redemption history.
- Location information when a quest requires proximity or map-based check-ins and you grant location access.
- Creator content including quest details, locations, questions, and prize information.
- Technical information such as device, browser, IP address, campaign attribution, and service usage data.
How we use information
- Operate accounts, quests, entries, winner selection, and prize redemption.
- Protect the service, prevent misuse, and investigate suspicious activity.
- Provide support and communicate important service or quest updates.
- Understand performance and improve Sidequest.
How information is shared
We share information only when needed to operate Sidequest, measure campaigns, comply with law, or protect the service. Quest creators may receive information needed to administer their quest and fulfill prizes. Payment providers process payment information under their own privacy terms. When you consent, Google Analytics and Google Ads process usage and campaign data under Google's terms.
Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and service protection. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can update certain account details through Sidequest and may request account deletion or ask a privacy question by contacting us. You can deny location permission, although location-based quests may not work without it.
